Workshop: Summer Migrants
This workshop by Anton Odendal is aimed at celebrating the migrants visiting South Africa during summer months. The aim is to assist birders to make the most of birding during this time of year.
Potentially confusing identification characteristics are illustrated, as it refers to migrants that could be confused with resident birds. Think of Spotted Flycatcher and African Dusky Flycatcher. The text used during the course is included in basic workshop notes to be forwarded to all participants before the course starts. The workshop will assist both local and visiting birders to make the most of birding in the region during the summer months. Participants receive a special offer to join BirdLife Overberg.
